Hi! My name is Nesli Meir. I am an American-born film and tv actress.
I caught the acting bug when I was about four years old after watching a Barbie movie – in which Barbie was an actress – and wondering what it would be like to be on the silver screen myself and make the audience feel the movie as they watched it. The idea of being an actor seemed so magical, I quickly fell in love with acting and showbiz itself.
My acting credits include the lead role of "Ana" in the feature film Ana & Mia, a psychological horror story, a "Pageant Girl" in the film Round Robin by Maria Belafonte, the leading role of "Apollo Kid" in the short film Welcome to Camp Half-Blood, a "Track Runner" in the PSA N1NE, and a "Highschooler" in a popular Netflix show. I also created and starred in my own short film The Lives of a Reader.
I am currently taking weekly scene study classes with Jillian Rose Reed at Cynthia Bain’s Young Actor Studio and have also studied at the New York Film Academy. I’ve grown so much as an actor since first taking the classes.
Beyond acting, I love watching multi-camera comedies, reading, training at the Circus Center, painting, and practicing SFX makeup.
Being on set is where I thrive. I aim to make art. I look forward to working with you!
